Sunday Services are still not live, BUT we are ONLINE

Date: 26th July 2020

Time: 10:30 - 11:30

1) The Circuit Video service will as usual appear on the Dorset South and West website from Saturday evening and for the time being continues to be hosted by the Rev Peter Clarke.  This week’s service is rather different as it is an edited version of last Sunday’s special Zoom Service to mark the Tolpuddle Festival with the President of Methodist Conference, the Rev'd Richard Teal preaching and the Vice-president, Carolyn Lawrence and the Chair of District Rev'd Andrew de Ville taking part too.  We actually had nearly 150 folks attending it which felt amazing and I heartily watching this.  The YouTube link is here:
2) The Audio Service from the URC Daily Devotions Team will be led on Sunday by the Rev'd Ruth Whitehead, Moderator of our South Western Synod, leads us in worship and reflects on prayer.

The service starts with Alison Kraus's Down by the River to Pray
then we sing Edwin Hatch's Breathe on me Breath of God
and are grateful to the Nevard family for recording George Caird's Not Far Beyond for us to sing along to.
The extremely moving version of the American Shaker Hymn, How Can I Keep From Singing, was recorded by the New York City Virtual Choir
and we end the service with William William's Guide Me O Though Great Redeemer.

We hope you can join us on Sunday morning and we hope Ruth's words and the music will lift our spirits.
With every good wish
Andy (Rev Andy Braunston)
Co-ordinator, Daily Devotions from the URC
